As life carried us across state lines, through changing cities and finding familiar places, we found that home was not a place - home was each other.
What could have pulled us apart only drew us closer until, eventually, we built a life beneath the same roof, filling ordinary days with shared routines, quiet comfort, and love that felt steady and sure.

There were seasons that asked more of us than we ever expected - days of distance, uncertainty, and illness that tested the strength of what we had built together. Even across miles, love remained steady. Phone calls became comfort, patience became devotion, and care became its own kind of language.
When Autumn was sick, Joshua loved her gently and faithfully through it all - showing up in quiet ways, offering strength on difficult days, and reminding her that she was never carrying those moments alone. What could have hardened us instead softened us toward one another, teaching us that love is found not only in joy but in tenderness, sacrifice, and staying.

Together, we wandered through countless moments, little adventures, and ordinary nights, until we moved to the small town of Cortez, Colorado.
As the years carried us forward, we found ourselves longing for a slower, softer kind of life - one filled with familiarity, quiet evenings, and the people we love most. There, among familiar faces and simpler days, we began building not only a future together, but roots that would last for years to come.
Somewhere along the way, "you and me" quietly became "home."
